Teacher of Science

A secondary academy in Blackpool, Lancashire is looking to recruit a Teacher of Science for an immediate or September 2024 start. Holden Knight Education are supporting the recruitment of this Teacher of Science role.

This school is considered good in terms of their OFSTED report.

Key duties:

1. Teaching Science to KS4.

2. To succeed in this role, you will be focusing on various assessments across Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

3. As a teacher of Science, you should possess an excellent ability to teach Science.

4. Develop teaching materials and teaching aids.

5. Conduct innovative lessons for students.

6. Maintain reports for future reference.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field.

2. Prior experience working as a Science teacher in an Educational setting.

3. Strong time management skills.

4. QTS or equivalent.

5. Exceptional attention to detail.

6. Hard working and reliable.

7. Strong decision making skills.

8. Outstanding problem solving skills.
