Prospero Teaching are looking for an outstanding and enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join our growing team at a technical college in Warrington. This is a new post to join a well-established, experienced and successful science faculty. A passion for teaching and the ability to motivate young people are among the qualities they seek.

This is an excellent opportunity for an innovative and inspiring teacher to provide learners with an outstanding learning experience. The successful candidates teaching timetable will involve delivery of both KS4 AQA Trilogy Combined Science and/or Separate Sciences alongside KS5 T-level Science for an appropriately qualified and experienced applicant.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Location - Warrington
  • Position - Teacher of Science
  • Type of work - Covering classes in absence of a Class Teacher
  • Start date - September 2024
  • Contract type - Temporary
  • Full time/part time - Part time
  • Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £120 per day
  • Hours - 8:15 am - 4pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Recent Graduate, with a 2:1 or higher
  • PGCE in desired role
  • Previous experience working in a UK school
  • Previous experience working in a leadership role
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
  • Up to date Prevent training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references covering the last 2 years
