Accelerate Teaching, a leading educational agency, invites applications for the position of Teacher of Religious Education (RE) at a reputable secondary school located in Kirklees. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator to join a dynamic team dedicated to nurturing students' understanding of religion and its impact on society.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and informative lessons in Religious Education to secondary school students.
  • Develop and implement curriculum plans that foster critical thinking and reflection on religious beliefs and practices.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and respected.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching Religious Education at the secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students to explore different religious traditions and perspectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse groups of learners.
  • Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in the classroom.
