Teacher of Music - Full Time - Permanent Role
VNA Education is looking for a Music Teacher for a Secondary school in the Redbridge area. This role will be a full-time position starting September 2024.
The successful applicant will be expected to lead inspirational lessons to all pupils and effectively manage a classroom, whilst creating a safe space for students to thrive in performing arts,

- Salary - £34,514 - £51,179
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- QTS, QTLS or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year teaching experience in the UK.
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year.
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
- Provide two professional related references.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging music lessons for Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students.
- Inspire creativity, musical expression, and technical skills in students.
- Teach music theory, performance, and appreciation.
- . Lead extracurricular music activities, such as choirs, bands, or orchestras.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall music curriculum.
- Promote good progress and outcomes by pupils.
- Adapt teaching to respond to strengths and needs of pupils.
