Teacher of Geography

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Teacher of Geography to work in a Secondary school near Sudbury, Starting in September 2024. This position will be offered on a permanent basis.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location - Sudbury
• Position - Teacher of Geography
• Contract/ Start Date - September 2024
• Duration/ Duration - Permanent
• Full Time/ Part Time - Full Time
• Minimum rate of pay - Paid to scale (We negotiate your salary - moving you up the pay ladder, a bigger TLR bonus package, and sign on bonuses for every year that you stay)
• Hours - Full time - Normal school hours

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree (2:1 or above) in any subject
• GCSE English and Maths grade 'C' or above
• Qualified Teacher Status
• PGCE and QTS in Secondary Education (Geography/ Humanities)
• Have experience as a Subject Leader/ HoD

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold right to work in the UK.
• Hold an Enhanced Child Barred list DBS certificate, registered with the online update service - or be willing to process a new application.
• Provide two professional child related references
