They are seeking to appoint an English Teacher to cover maternity leave from September 2024.

Founded in 1947 by Charles and Muriel Oxley, the school offers an inspirational environment in which to teach, set within the semi-rural area of Rainhill. The school offers dynamic opportunities in learning, sport and extra-curricular activities, and a cohesive, supportive atmosphere for all staff.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Location - Rainhill
  • Position - English Teacher
  • Start date - September 2024
  • Duration - Mat Leave
  • Contract type - Full Time
  • Minimum rate of pay - £140 per day
  • Hours - 8:15AM - 4:00PM Monday to Friday

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant teaching qualification
  • Previous experience working in a school
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, training can be provided)
  • Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, training can be provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
