A great Secondary school, on the beautiful island of Guernsey is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Teacher of Art on a permanent basis, to start in September 2024.
The candidate must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent and have experience teaching across Key Stages (3-5). The role comes with a generous relocation package and rental support.
Essential requirements:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- PGCE or degree in the relevant subject area
- Clean Enhanced DBS
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Teach across Key Stages 3-4. The capacity to teach KS5 is desirable
- Appropriate planning and preparation of courses to support curriculum development
- Promote a love for Art & Design to students inside the classroom, as well as across the whole school community
- Manage the behaviour of students in classrooms and around the school
- Support extra-curricular activities
- Differentiate to meet the needs of learners
- Adhere to all agreed departmental and whole school policies
