Job Purpose

  • Manage a significant and diverse portfolio of corporate tax clients.
  • Review draft financial statements.
  • Review the computations of junior staff.
  • Offering accurate tax advisory services.
  • Communicating with other departments at the firm to ensure joined up services.
  • Occasional site visits.
  • Work directly with clients, supporting them with various advisory matters.
  • Deliver sound knowledge of tax compliance obligations and legislation, keeping up to date with changes.
  • Oversight of the WIP and management of deadlines.
  • Oversee junior staff, reviewing working and providing constructive mentorship.
  • Become actively involved with the business development of the firm, promoting the business online and in person.?
  • Work collaboratively with the wider firm, supporting with ad hoc duties as required.

Job Requirements

  • ATT or CTA qualified ideally but ACCA, ACA will be considered.
  • Previous corporate tax experience in practice.
  • Sound technical understanding of tax matters and legislation.
  • Strong communication and advisory skills.
  • Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Self-motivated and highly organised.
  • A team player able to bring out the best in others and coach and inspire the junior team.
  • Able to confidently work closely with Partners.
