Key Responsibilities:


  • Address complex tax matters and provide clear, concise advice to clients.
  • Engage directly with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Identify areas requiring detailed advice and liaise with internal teams (Accounts, Business Management & Payroll) for coordinated delivery.
  • Recognize opportunities for additional client services and collaborate with subject specialists.
  • Manage HMRC enquiries on behalf of clients and ensure compliance within assigned client portfolios.
  • Guide and support junior team members in their professional development.
  • Take ownership of client billing and associated debt collection.
  • Participate in internal Tax Technical training sessions.


Attributes, Requirements, Skills:


  • Hold a professional qualification (CTA or equivalent); 
  • A private client background is advantageous.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced team environment, delivering under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Conduct technical tax research effectively and communicate complex concepts to clients.
  • Experience in reviewing self-assessment tax returns.
  • Exceptional organisational skills to manage workloads, time charges, and budgets.
  • Committed to continuous professional development and maintaining technical knowledge.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable to new challenges.
  • Ability to work under pressure with precision and focus.
