Our client is seeking an experienced Tax Manager or Senior ready to take that next step up in their career. You will be leading the team which has been experiencing lots of growth recently. This is an exciting time for the client and they want an ambitious individual who can grow with them.

This role comes with lots of responsibility and growth opportunities. You will work closely with the Partners and be encouraged to come up with new strategic ideas and help attract new clients to the firm.

Tax Manager - About The Role

Leading the Tax team, you will be responsible for a diverse portfolio of clients and be their main point of contact. This is a varied role, while focusing on Personal Tax you will also be reviewing Corporation Tax returns prepared by junior members of the team, advising clients on Tax matters and Tax planning.

Experience in both Personal and Corporate Tax is essential for this role.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Personal Tax returns for a variety of clients
  • Review Corporation Tax returns
  • Manage a portfolio of clients and be their main point of contact for the firm
  • Train and develop junior members of the team
  • Meeting statutory deadlines
  • Preparing budgets and agreeing with the Relationship Partner and clients

The successful Tax Manager will have:

  • CTA
  • A minimum of 2 years PQE experience within the UK
  • Experience managing a portfolio of clients
  • Strong working knowledge of Tax rules and principles
  • Strong communication skills
