Our client, a medium sized firm based in Chancery Lane is looking for an experienced Legal PA, ideally with experience in corporate/tax. You will be assisting two Senior Partners with the Tax team.

Duties are as follows:

  • Manage and maintain partner’s/other fee-earner’s diaries. Make appointments, book meeting rooms and general diary management.
  • Assist clients on the phone (where applicable) and take messages and pass to relevant partners/allocated fee-earners.
  • Manage client databases and progress spreadsheets.
  • Manage and prepare new client take on procedures.
  • Co-ordinate billing procedures with partners/allocated fee-earners and the Finance team.
  • Co-ordinate and book travel and accommodation requirements as required.
  • Assist other teams when workload required and assist with other duties or responsibilities as directed by the firm.

To secure the role they are looking for the following:

o Excellent telephone manner.

o Experience of diary management/researching and booking of travel and accommodation (essential).

o Communication and interpersonal relationship building.

o Excel experience (desirable).

o Ability to multi-task, organise self and others.

o Excellent client service standards.

o Ability to prioritise.

o Attention to detail.

o Ability to problem solve, use initiative and be proactive

The hours are 9-5.30 pm. Working in the office 5 days a week. Salary circa £40K plus benefits. Temp to perm role ideally but will consider someone permanent also. So availability will be important for this role also.
