Axon Moore are partnering with a high growth tech / SaaS business to appoint an in-house Tax Lead.

This role can be done on a fully remote or hybrid basis.

The business boasts rapidly growing revenue/ARR rates and a client list which consists of a number of major blue chip, multinational organisations.

The Tax Lead is an in-house tax role which will take responsibility for the majority of the business’ Corporation Tax, Direct and In-Direct tax affairs.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • All aspects of Corporate and International Tax, including tax reporting and analysis
  • Handling tax returns including R&D and international filings
  • Transfer pricing calculations and inter-company accounting
  • Indirect tax including VAT, EC Sales List, Sales Tax
  • Liaising with third party advisers both domestically and internationally

This is a high level tax role, however requires someone who can be ‘hands on’ and can perform detailed tasks without delegating to a team. Over time as the business continues to evolve, the role is likely to become more strategic.

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience

  • Qualified ACA/CTA/ACCA, ideally having trained within a large practice environment (Big 4/Top 10)
  • The role would suit someone’s first senior in-house role coming out of practice, or a role for a tax professional seeking a leadership role
  • Strong technical tax skills and exposure to international tax work including transfer pricing and overseas tax legislation
