Five Education is looking for teaching assistants to work in schools in Bath and Keynsham. The role will involve working with young people with SEND and other complex needs. As a highly rewarding role, you will play a vital part in supporting a student's learning journey, working on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
Previous experience in supporting individuals with SEND is not essential but beneficial. The perfect candidate would be compassionate, patient and resilient.

Main Responsibilities
- Assist students in accessing learning under the guidance of the class teacher
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times
- Support students during transitions between activities and locations within the school
- Provide emotional and behavioural support to students, helping them to develop coping strategies and self-regulation skills
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO and other staff members to address the individual needs of students

Essential Criteria
- Have an interest in supporting children/young people
- Right to work in the UK
- Relevant references and DBS/police checks if necessary
- Able to work 5 days a week (term time only), 8:30-15:30
