Our client is seeking a skilled Systems Integration Specialist to bolster their IT SAP team. This position is situated at the clients global headquarters in Wynyard.

Reporting directly to the SAP Technical Lead, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role within a compact technical unit, ensuring the smooth operation of SAP business systems and associated interfaces. They will also contribute to technical development and programming initiatives across various functional domains on a global scale, involving one or more SAP templates.

Key responsibilities entail:

  • Spearheading discussions with third-party support partners while fostering proactive engagement with the clients subject matter experts and external clientele.
  • Profound comprehension of business process issues and requirements, aiding in the evaluation of viable solutions, and delivering sound recommendations on technological implementations or configuration adjustments for both existing and emerging technologies.
  • Continuous enhancement of integration technology skills while staying abreast of advancements, including SAP BTP and its facilitation of intelligent technologies like AI, machine learning, and IoT in business workflows.
  • Autonomous management of system configurations to uphold professional standards compliant with SOX regulations.
  • Integral involvement in the planning, design, configuration, installation, training, unit testing, and commissioning of technology solutions within their purview.
  • End-to-end ownership of global developments, encompassing a gatekeeping role for pre-production assessments, analysis of operational issues, resolution provision, peer review facilitation, and comprehensive documentation upkeep.
  • Ensuring compliance with pertinent standards concerning data and system security, account management, change control, and data management to safeguard system integrity. Provision of production support for designated business systems, encompassing data security maintenance, user access control, third and fourth level support, and coordination with technical counterparts as necessary.

Candidate requirements:

  • Hold a relevant University Degree in Computing.
  • Possess professional certification(s) from SAP or equivalent.
  • Accumulate over 5 years of hands-on experience.
  • Previous experience in a dynamic, multi-platform environment is highly advantageous.

Ideally candidates will be within a reasonable distance to the office in Stockon however the client would consider fully remote options with approx 2 days per month in the office.
