What you’ll be doing:
As Systems Engineer, you will be working within a talented team of tech professionals, to live and breathe Linux, AWS, and networking infrastructure. This is a collaborative team, who strive for perfection and excellence. You will be supporting and maintaining web based B2B solutions and internal technical services. This role is a mix of server and network administration, with a dash of staff desktop support (don't worry, you will have a dedicated desktop support engineer to assist).
The team is relaxed, welcoming and has a casual vibe. The focus is creating excellent work and being totally open with each other to brainstorm the best ideas. What experience you’ll need to apply:
- Linux Guru: With 7+ years of Linux experience (Ubuntu/Debian preferred), you know your way around Apache or nginx/php-fpm and bash scripting.
- Analytical person: You thrive in troubleshooting situations and have 7+ years of experience supporting live B2B IT systems in an SME environment.
- Networking Whiz: With 4+ years of network infrastructure experience.
- Experience working with Microsoft Windows-based environments, including Windows Server, Active Domain, and some PowerShell exposure.
- MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Amazon Redshift.
- Experience in staff desktop support and responding to user requests.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- You have a drive to learn and can work independently, taking ownership of projects and delivering exceptional results.
