An Enterprise Monitoring Systems Engineer is required for a 6 month contract to work in collaboration with the Data Centre and Server teams of a renowned organisation in the Higher Education sector.

They are looking for someone to refine system categorisation and monitoring to drive both efficiency and innovation. Knowledge of SCOM, vCentre, Nagios and Dell Openmanage iDrac would be highly desirable.

The role will require an onsite presence of 2-3 times per week.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct a comprehensive review of server categorisation and monitoring protocols.
- Standardise sever information and update asset data systems.
- Implement and update monitoring protocols.
- Develop dashboards to track server statuses.
- Enhance alert trigger mechanisms in alignment with team objectives.

Knowledge Required:

- Extensive experience in systems administration and enterprise monitoring.
- Proficiency in Dell Openmanage iDrac, SCOM, Nagiosm and vCentre (VMWare)
- Strong communication skills who can work collaboratively with teams.
