The client is looking for a systematic PM to join the fund’s collegiate and collaborative London-based investment team. This individual would utilise their experience, and understanding of the capital markets, to manage and oversee portfolios, utilising quantitative methodologies, to capture relative value opportunities across the G10 markets. Fundamentally, you will be operating within the whole systematic investment lifecycle from research through to the outlined portfolio management. The group largely concentrate on trading mid and low frequency RV strategies in DM rates and trade both bonds and derivatives.

There is a very high technical standard in this team, so they are looking for candidates with exceptional academic backgrounds. They are looking for a minimum of a master’s level degree, in a relevant stem subject, from a highly regarded international institution. The role will involve working closely with a range of senior stakeholders, so as well as excellent technical ability, there is a need for strong communication skills. Furthermore, the team prioritise finding candidates who combine high performance with low ego and a collaborative mindset as they are a nimble, close-knit team. Exceptional outlier profiles will be considered.

Requirement:

  • 3+ years’ experience within rates relative value as a systematic PM within a top tier bank or hedge fund.
  • Direct trading/risk taking experience.
  • Minimum of master’s level education within a relevant stem subject.
  • Ambitious and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to work within a collegiate and nimble environment.
