A brilliant opportunity for an experienced Sustainability Engineer to join a Global Design, Engineering, and Project Management Consultancy. The successful candidate will work on exciting engineering projects across a range of sectors including Mission Critical, Aviation, Energy, Commercial Offices, Residential, Blue Light, Education, Transportation and Defence. The projects will range from small net zero carbon housing developments to projects of significant and national scale.
Requirements:
- Degree or Master's in building physics or similar
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience in development of Energy strategies and Building Regulations Part L assessments
- Dynamic modelling experience
- Professional Membership CIBSE, IET, IMechE (Desirable)
- Low Carbon Energy Assessor qualifications (Desirable)
- Experience with CFD packages
Duties:
- Undertake engineering Building Physics design and modelling on a range of projects
- Complete dynamic thermal models using IES software
- Produce Part L & EPC reports, TM54, Thermal Comfort Reports, daylight analysis, LZC reports, and BREEAM modelling reports
- Support with technical development of junior staff
