Job Title: Surgical Staff Nurse

Salary: £28,407 - £34,581 per annum

Sanctuary Personnel is currently recruiting for a Staff Nurse position within a prestigious healthcare facility based in Southampton. This role is in the Surgical-Inpatient department at Band 5 level, with the salary depending on experience. This is a full-time position, operating on a shift basis.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a supportive and welcoming team on a 28-bed orthopaedic ward. The ward caters to various routine and planned surgeries and procedures, including total hip replacements, knee replacements, spinal surgery, and surgeries on feet, hands, and shoulders.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in assessing patients' health and well-being across a diverse caseload. Your responsibilities will include delivering high-quality care tailored to meet individual patient needs, promoting best practices, contributing to quality improvement initiatives, and effectively managing data.

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

  • Be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) without any restrictions or conditions on their PIN.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of post-graduation experience, preferably in a surgical setting.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, organisational abilities, and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.
