Support Workers

Eden Brown Synergy is recruiting for Support Workers for a NEW Childrens' Residential Home.

The Support Worker (Children's Residential Care) would have an opportunity to join a leading group offering therapeutic care and education services for children and young people.

The role would be ideal for a Children's Support Worker looking for a new and rewarding career challenge in a growing organisation'

As a Support Worker you would be able to work flexibly in caring for children, which would include working shifts, sleep-ins with full time and part time hours available.

A Full UK Drivers Licence is required

As a Support Worker you would be required to:

• Be part of a caring team that provides a safe and loving home for children and young people, led and supported by a registered manager.
• Provide the therapeutic care and support needed for each individual child.
• Act as a positive role model to meet their everyday living needs,
• Enjoy fun days out such as theme parks, fishing, football and hiking.
• Provide emotional and physical support to allow the children to reach their full potential in sometimes challenging situations
• Build friendships and trusting relationships
• Help them to find pleasure in everyday tasks
• Empower them to make decisions about themselves

As a Senior Support Worker you would meet the following requirements:

• Gained at least 1 year experience in a Children's Residential Care Home
• Ideally a qualification (NVQ) in Caring for Children and Young People
• Have great communication skills, naturally caring, flexible and resilient.
• Be naturally caring, flexible and resilient
