Support Worker

We are currently seeking dedicated Support Workers to join our team in providing exceptional care and support to males with Learning Difficulties in Supported Living accommodation near Leeds.

We work on behalf of a range of Supported Living services, providing tailored support to meet the diverse needs of service users. As a Support Worker with us, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact and contribute to the well-being and independence of those we support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing person-centred support to individuals with learning difficulties in accordance with their care plans.
• Assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
• Encouraging and enabling service users to participate in social and recreational activities within the community.
• Supporting individuals to develop life skills and achieve their personal goals.
• Promoting independence and empowerment while ensuring the safety and well-being of service users at all times.
• Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns or incidents to the appropriate authorities.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a similar role is essential.
• A compassionate and empathetic approach, with a genuine commitment to supporting individuals with learning difficulties.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with service users, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
• Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required.
