About the Company

Protea Care Homes is recruiting passionate individuals in its Supported Living service in St Albansfor the role of Support Worker.

We are passionate about supporting adults with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health diagnosis, including behaviour that challenges. Our main priority is to find people with the right values, behaviours and attitudes that match our own!

What does this Support Worker job involve?

Hours of Work: 37.50 Hours Per Week - 07:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 / 07:00 - 22:00 + Some Weekend Work

  • Start each shift by signing the communication book and attending the verbal handover.
  • Tasks are based on the service diary and individual activity plans.
  • Daily tasks vary based on the individuals' activities, which can include domestic chores, budgeting, outings, etc.

These can be:

  • Appointments
  • Medication
  • Write daily reports
  • key working sessions
  • other activities
