We are looking for experienced passionate support workers for Howe Dell Manor, who will provide great care that allows our service users to feel safe, respected and valued.

What does this Support Worker job involve?

Hours of Work: 37.50 Hours Per Week - Shifts: 08:00 - 20:00 / 20:00 - 08:00 - 3 Days one Week 4 Days Next Week + Alternating Weekends

  • To undertake aspects of care with or without direct supervision, including hosting recreational and activity groups, carrying out personal care, observations and escorting duties, such as general hospital visits.
  • To ensure the safety and well-being of our service users, and to always work in a manner that promotes dignity through the adoption of person-centred care principles.

Desirable skills:

  • Experience working with mental health within a similar setting
  • Positive can do attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previously completed Control and Restraint training within the last 12 months or willing to complete a face to face course
  • Ability to undertake physical tasks involving patient care
