The person you will support is looking for an individual who is reliable and motivated. The ideal candidate would be bubbly and outgoing character with a can do attitude, to provide support for the individual and promote his daily living alongside another member of the team on a 2;1 basis.

The person you will be supporting lives within the family property which has ample space and designed with his needs at heart. The property even has its own hydro pool to assist with rehabilitation!

The client has complex care needs and brain injury due to an accident.

The client is looking for some to support him being involved in day to day activities, therapies and assisting with daily care needs. The things he likes to do include music, swimming, chatting & footie. The client is an enthusiastic person with a sense of humour. He needs someone to assist with all daily living goals and care to suite his needs, whilst ensuring his dignity, safety and wellbeing is maintained.

He requires full assistance with promoting personal care/hygiene, personal safety and wellbeing and supporting a healthy & nutritional balanced diet.

He requires assistance with administrating medication. You will also be required to write detailed notes on his day to day activities, care and healthcare input.

Previous experience working within care and with complex needs/brain injury is essential, but full training and support will be given.

NVQ 3 is desirable along with a knowledge or experience of working with clients with behaviours that may challenge.

Applicants must have a full driving licence.

Hours of work

• 35 Hours per week
• 6 week rolling rota with rest periods.

Salary

• Weekday £16.00 per hour
• Weekend £18.00 per hour
• Night Rate (weekday) £16.00 per hour
• Night Rate (weekend) £18.00 per hour
• Bank Holiday Rate paid at time & half.
• Sleep-in Rate commencing on a Weekday £77.50 per shift.
• Sleep-in commencing on a Weekend £77.50 per shift

Due to the nature of the role an enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service will be required.
