Support Worker – Learning Disabilities
 
LOCATION:              Bath
DURATION:              2 months +
HOURS:                    37.5  Mon-Fri 9-5
Salary:                      £13.67 - £14.63 PAYE Incl. £15.22 Umbrella

We are looking for dedicated Support Workers to join a leading charity in the Social Services sector, on a contract basis. You'll have the opportunity to truly make an impact and contribute to the well-being of others.
As a Support Worker you'll be part of a team devoted to empowering individuals and ensuring they have the necessary support to lead fulfilling lives. Your compassion, patience, and positive attitude will be invaluable in providing holistic care and support.

Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience in providing support to individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with service users and their families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic care environment
  • Empathy, patience, and a compassionate approach to care
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Certification in First Aid and Moving and Handling
  • Background in working within a similar support environment
