We have fantastic opportunities for hard-working and dedicated Support Workers to work with Hays supporting various care providers within the East and West Sussex areas. We work with services that support adults and children with Learning Disabilities, Autism, challenging Behaviours, Mental Health and other Complex Needs.
We deal with both long-term roles and shift work, including weekdays, nights and weekend work in Residential, Supported Living and Independent living services.
Your new role
Within the role of Support Worker, you will support individuals in their everyday lives, supporting them to live as full a life as possible, promoting and encouraging independence and to engage with the community. You will provide physical, emotional support and health care of the highest standard, ensuring that respect, dignity and confidentiality is maintained at all times.
What you'll need to succeed

  • Be a compassionate and caring individual with a genuine passion for helping others.
  • 6 months recent experience in similar roles
  • Be flexible and reliable
  • You must have a minimum of 6 months relevant experience
  • Care Certificate and NVQ's desirable but not essential
  • Own transport is an advantage
