As part of our Residential Care & Education Service, Erskine Waterfront Campus in Erskine provides children and young people who have faced challenges and barriers to their learning with a safe, supportive and high quality alternative to mainstream education. Our relational approach, following attachment informed principles, provides a nurturing and caring learning environment that enables pupils to reach their potential.

We have a strong focus on experiential learning with the aim of giving children back their childhood, strengthening resilience and supporting active participation in their communities.

The abilities of our pupils range from Early Level to the Senior Phase. As many of the children who attend Erskine have experienced difficulties in school in the past, you will provide support for learning and teaching activities in the classroom, during breaks and lunchtime. You will also assist with the preparation, organisation and use of resources.

To apply you will either have or be able to attain a minimum qualification at SCQF Level 7 in an aspect of accreditation which adds capacity to our Curriculum and the eight curricular areas within it.

Even though CrossReach is one of Scotlands largest social care organisations with services across the country, we genuinely value the individual. For the children here, that means being treated with respect, whatever the circumstances. For professionals like you, it means being part of an environment where you can contribute ideas, have your needs recognised and achieve your ambitions. Because as you support the childrens future, well look after yours, with ongoing training and support for achieving additional qualifications. You'll also receive a range of benefits, including company pension, health cash plan, paid holiday and access to a range of leisure and retail discounts.

Salary is pro rata of 35 hours per week, term time working only.

Erskine Waterfront Campus
Located at our purpose built Education campus, Erskine Waterfront believes that all children have potential, and our aim is to unlock that through the flexible learning opportunities and motivating experiences we offer. We have created an enriched learning experience for pupils based on their strengths, skills, and interests, using our Relational and Attachment focused approach. Importantly, children who have been harmed by relationships cam be healed through relationships. The Children and Young People we support are aged from 8 18 years with additional support needs and we have both residential and day pupils.
