I am looking for a Support Engineer with a strong Telecoms background for an initail 6 month rolling contract. The skills required for this role are;
- Provide Telephone assistance to the retail base for legacy Gemini and integrated solutions:
- Provide fault assistance and liaison services between suppliers and retailers for the following items
o Telecom problems for ISDN and PSTN lines (Liaise with BT and Retailers)
o Polling issues (Liaise between, Atos, Micros, Htec and any other supplier) to provide assistance to resolve polling issues.
o Follow up on Transaction and Settlement queries relating to the Legacy estate.
o Fault diagnosis and tracking of technical calls through to resolution for legacy equipment (non Gempay)
- Log tickets in Htec Metro system and follow up through to resolution.
- Where needed assist with any Change of Owners or new site gains with team.
- Log incident tickets in tool to track faults and supply updates through to resolution.
