Job Description:

Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact on the lives of families in need? Do you possess the dedication and skills to provide crucial support to strengthen family units? If so, we invite you to consider joining our team as a Social Worker specializing in Support and Strengthening Families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the specific needs and strengths of each family.
  • Provide counseling, guidance, and practical assistance to families to enhance their coping skills and resilience.
  • Connect families with community resources and services to address their various needs, such as housing assistance, childcare, healthcare, and vocational training.
  • Monitor progress and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions, adjusting support plans as needed to promote positive outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychologists, educators, healthcare professionals, and other social workers, to provide comprehensive support to families.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • State licensure or certification as a Social Worker (LCSW, LMSW, etc.).
  • Previous experience working with families in a social services setting is preferred..
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of community resources and support services.
