Role Overview:

As a Primary School Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work across different year groups and classrooms, covering lessons in the absence of regular class teachers. Your role will be dynamic and varied, requiring adaptability, creativity, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.

Key Responsibilities - Primary School Supply Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons across a range of subjects and year groups, following the school's curriculum and lesson plans.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued, supported, and motivated to succeed.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting a culture of respect, collaboration, and enthusiasm for learning.
  • Provide instruction, guidance, and support to students, ensuring their understanding of key concepts and fostering their academic progress.
  • Collaborate with school staff and support teams to maintain continuity and ensure a seamless learning experience for students.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting, with a strong understanding of the UK curriculum.
  • Flexibility and availability to work on short notice, often in different classrooms and year groups.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching, with a passion for inspiring young learners and supporting their holistic development.
