Supply Teachers needed in Watford and surrounding areas.?

Full Time or Part Time

As a Supply Teacher, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences, delivering pre-planned lessons, and providing support to students across various year groups and subjects. This position offers flexibility, allowing you to choose your availability and gain valuable experience working in different classroom settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects and year groups, ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Engage and motivate students to participate actively in lessons and achieve their learning objectives.
  • Adapt teaching strategies and resources to meet the needs of diverse student groups and learning styles.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, student attendance, and behaviour incidents.
  • Collaborate with school staff to ensure a smooth transition for students and provide feedback on the day's activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject area.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Previous teaching experience in a primary or secondary school setting.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different learning environments.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and resilience to handle various teaching assignments and adapt to changing circumstances.
