Are you a teacher looking for more flexible ways to teach? Looking to work within a number of schools within your area?

Reed Education Southampton are currently seeking a large number of Primary and Secondary Teachers to fulfil increasing bookings across Hampshire.

We at Reed Education Southampton run the Hampshire Supply Service through our branch, supporting a large number of schools across the Hampshire County. We support these schools with day to day absence cover, long term placements and permanent vacancies, as well as supporting our candidates with various bookings or placements within their preferences.

The schools within the contract are a mixture of specialisms, including mainstream, specialist and education centres, who contact us for cover or vacancy support.

As a candidate at Reed, we work around your availability and preferences, ensuring we find or gain you the right opportunities in regards to bookings or placements, as well as supporting you with any assistance or guidance to your employment search. As an advantage, if you were to work supply within a number of schools within your area, this would give you inside experience within the school where you can form relationships with the pupils and staff, and see the school from the inside out!

The salary for this role is currently set between £130-190 per day, dependant on experience and pay scale. We aim to provide excellent pay rates to ensure you receive the rate that you have worked hard to get!

As a supply teacher, you will have reduced responsibilities – you will arrive at the school for 8:30am and teach the work that has been provided for you, and finish your day at 3:30pm. You will have no work to take home with you, meaning NO HOMEWORK!

What will you need?

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
  • Qualified Teacher Status with degree in specialist subject (i.e Subject or Primary Education)
  • Good availability and flexible to various bookings – the more you can do, the more we can offer!
  • A professional approach, and passion for teaching
  • Entitlement to work in the UK (British Passport/Right to Work Share Code/etc)
  • Previous regulated role experience preferred
