We are currently recruiting for :

Job Title: Maths Supply Teacher

Location: Hillingdon, West London

Position Type: Temporary/Supply/Contract

Salary: £200 per Day

Period: April-July 2024

Job Description: Our esteemed partnered schools in Hillingdon are seeking dynamic and dedicated Maths Supply Teachers to join for next school term. As a Maths Supply Teacher, you will play a vital role in maintaining the continuity of education, covering from Mid April-July 2024.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering engaging and interactive mathematics lessons to students (SEN) across various year groups, adhering to the national curriculum and school policies.

• Providing support and guidance to students to enhance their understanding of mathematical concepts and techniques.

• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel motivated to participate and achieve their full potential

• Assessing student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their development.

• Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the ongoing improvement of teaching and learning within the mathematics department.

• Maintaining accurate records of attendance, grades, and other relevant student data.

• Communicating effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and any concerns that may arise.

• Fulfilling any additional duties or responsibilities as assigned by the school leadership team.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) , with a degree in Mathematics or a related field.

• Proven experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level, with a strong understanding of the UK national curriculum.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities.

• Effective classroom management skills, with a proactive approach to promoting positive behavior.

• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust teaching strategies to meet the needs of different classes.

• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that promote student progress.

• Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to undergo the process) and the right to work in the UK.

As SEN Maths Teacher You will have:

  • Have the energy, passion, and drive to raise the standard.
  • Have experience of working with children & young adults with Special Needs.
  • Have knowledge and understanding of developments in education.
