Supply Higher level teaching assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team, working across a variety of settings and year groups in the Doncaster area. This role offers the flexibility to work on a day-to-day basis, providing an excellent opportunity to experience diverse educational environments.

• Delivering pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring continuity of education for students.
• Assisting in a range of classroom activities across different year groups and schools.
• Supporting the class teacher in planning and preparation of activities and lessons.
• Providing feedback to teachers on student progress and behaviour.
• Working with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
• Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment.
• Adapting teaching methods to cater to the varying needs of students.

• Must hold a Level 3 qualification relevant to the role of a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.
• Experience in supporting teachers and delivering lessons to students.
• Strong understanding of the UK curriculum and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different year groups.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Flexibility to work across different schools and adapt to varying educational settings.
