My client are seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to join their team to support the significant business growth. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will play a crucial role in coordinating the Supply Chain and Procurement activities to facilitate the successful mobilisation of the programmes to their partners. As the Supply Chain Specialist, you will collaborate closely with the external partners to manage, support, and optimise supply chain activities.

Location - Horsham

Salary - £45- 55k hybrid working and benefits

Roles & Responsibilities that are required for this role:

Experience in dealing with customers and suppliers.

Ensure that there is consistent and effective reporting of key Supply Chain metrics and milestones, to ensure that project KPIs are achieved.

Support the supply chain activity associated with the delivery of new and existing relationships through cross functional negotiations, relationship management, and analytical insights.

Tracking and reporting of the sourcing plans including Direct Materials, Non-Direct Materials, Capital Equipment.

The ideal candidate for the role will have:

Ideally, degree qualified from an engineering, manufacturing, or commercial discipline with additional experience in supply chain management.

Understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings, Bill of Material reports, and Supply Chain manufacturing processes.

Experience in developing and monitoring procedures

Experience working with project teams

Required skills

  • Experience of working in supply chain ideally within an engineering or manufacturing background
