A Supply Chain Analyst opportunity which offers a highly numerate, Excel savvy, analytical person the opportunity to use their skills to handle super high levels of data, analyse it and make recommendations based on that analysis which enables critical Supply Chain decision making to be based on data.

You will be joining a hugely successful, award winning business which operates from a prestigious facility in Harlow. The company’s products are synonymous with luxury living and are exported to over 40 countries worldwide. You can work from home three days per week and also benefit from flexible start / finish times provided you work the core hours.

The Supply Chain Analyst is a new role which will further strengthen the Operations team, which serves the global business. It is based in Harlow and reports to the Head of Procurement.

The role will support the Operations Team to improve the company’s timely delivery of products to it’s customers globally. Duties of the Supply Chain Analyst will include:

- Conducting inventory ananlysis and designing reports accordingly.

- Monitoring and collecting data on current operations, including open supplier orders, shipping, warehousing, delivery.

- Gathering data on each step within the supply chain and using it to recommend change to reduce costs.

- Communicating with other departments within the company to identify efficiency issues and propose changes for improvement.

- Managing demand planning software and working with software partner to further develop its scope and output.

Applicants for the post of Supply Chain Analyst must have proven quantitative and analytical skills and have strong (ideally expert) knowledge of Excel, together with excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills. A team player, you are professional in your approach and a cheerful, positive member of the team.
