Established, globally regarded aerospace component and systems manufacturer is seeking to recruit a driven, dynamic Supplier Quality Engineer to take responsibility for maintaining, controlling, and ensuring the quality performance of all suppliers.

Working closely with suppliers and the goods in inspection team you will be tasked to resolve any issues while ensuring the level of supplier performance consistently meets the required level.

In this role, such duties will include but are not limited to the following. Providing quality interpretation of requirements to suppliers, managing and supporting the supplier quality interface, providing and producing regular reports and quality performance of supply chain to relevant management teams while also Providing First Article Inspection support and performance analysis, test and process audits etc….

Requirements and Skills

• Proven experience in Quality within an Engineering Manufacturing environment.

• Proven experience working directly with suppliers and supplier management

• Proven experience performing quantitative or statistical analysis, data collection, preparation, and interpretation

• Proven experience in root cause analysis and corrective action

A large part of this role will involve traveling to visit suppliers’ sites here in the UK as well as occasional visits to suppliers located overseas who are predominantly in France allowing for accurate audits and thorough site visits to take place in person.

Salary £40,000 - £45,000 plus excellent benefits package
