Do you consider yourself to be strong at relationship and stakeholder management, with great communication skills? Are you able to work effectively, implementing procurement strategies that will deliver best value for the business? If so, we are looking for an individual who would be interested in joining a global medical device manufacturer as a supplier account manager. You will be responsible for a number of tasks from negotiation of commercial contract terms, to selection of suppliers in line with business needs.

Role details:

Title - Supplier Account Manager
Location - Witney
Salary - £40,000 + dependant on experience
Hours - 37.5 per week (Monday - Friday)
Contract length - 12 months

Responsibilities include:

  • Uphold compliance standards with company policy and procedure
  • Supporting implementation of procurement strategies and performance improvement programmes
  • Manage quality system compliance, good manufacturing practice, corporate and regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate and select best in class suppliers to meet the needs of the business.

Person Specification:

  • Strong communication skills with availability to negotiate and present.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders of all levels.
  • Experience within procurement, buying and category management in direct procurement
  • Strong proficiency of computer applications, including Microsoft Packages.
  • CIPS qualification (or equivalent)
