We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee a small team. This hands-on role requires a valid forklift licence and strong computer literacy. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing delivery notes and ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse from Monday to Friday, with minimal Saturday work.
Day-to-day of the role:- Supervise and coordinate a small warehouse staff, ensuring efficiency and safety in all operations.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery as required, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, maintaining accurate records at all times.
- Manage delivery notes and other documentation, ensuring all details are correct and up-to-date.
- Utilise computer systems to track inventory levels, orders, and deliveries.
- Provide training and support to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Step in to perform warehouse tasks as needed, demonstrating a hands-on approach to leadership.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organised, and well-maintained.
- Valid forklift licence.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse setting.
- Strong computer literacy, with the ability to quickly learn new software.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Flexibility to work Saturdays when required.
- 21 days holiday, rising to 25 days with each year of service.
