Supervising Social Worker

Telford/Hybrid

£39,600 (inclusive of car allowance) (pro rata part time)

Part Time - 24 Hours

Join our team as a Supervising Social Worker and make a real difference in the lives of children and young people in care.

As a Supervising Social Worker, you will be responsible for managing fostering resources in a designated region, recruiting, assessing, supervising, training, and supporting foster carers and their placements. You will work closely with support workers and therapeutic services staff to ensure the highest quality of care for our young individuals.

Key responsibilities include recruiting and assessing prospective foster carers, supervising and supporting allocated foster carers, promoting training and development opportunities, and maintaining accurate records. You will also have the opportunity to represent the organization externally, establish new links with local authorities, and contribute to business development within your allocated area.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual who is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

This is a part time position working 24 hours either over 3, 4 or 5 days a week at your discretion.
