Salary:  £110-£120 per day

Start Date: After Easter

GSL Education is currently assisting with the recruitment of a Substitute Teacher for a local school in Bournemouth.

As a Substitute Teacher, you will be responsible for providing essential support where schools need cover and additional support in the absence of their class teacher. This role offers flexibility where you can state your preferred working days and we can liaise this with the schools. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact, coupled with the flexibility and diversity inherent in the role of a Substitute Teacher.

The ideal candidate for the Substitute Teacher position should be passionate to deliver quality education in place of the normal class teacher and following lesson plans and school policies. This role will require you to be adaptable as you will be required to cover a variety of year groups within the primary school, therefore working with pupils of all ages and abilities across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. While the schools are currently seeking Substitute Teachers on a flexible basis, this role serves as an excellent entry point for longer-term positions that may become available in the future.

Requirements:

• Hold relevant qualifications (QTS)

• Demonstrate confidence in managing classroom behavior and adapting to different school policies.

• Be registered for a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education.
