My client is a global media group and leading media services provider that is the established leader in the delivery of paid content across all areas of the mining and energy industries and is at the forefront of development in new media technologies which enables enhanced delivery of its content services.

Summary of the role :

The role will take responsibility for bringing in new business from existing inbound leads, as well as proactively selling into targeted institutions. You will be joining an existing international subscription sales team spanning London, Perth, and Belo Horizonte. You will be expected to be proactive and be able to show initiative and build your pipeline of new business prospects. You should be confident in managing and developing sales opportunities spanning the complete sales cycle, from prospecting to closing. Full sales training and support will be given, alongside industry and product training to ensure you are fully equipped to succeed in your role.

Responsibilities :

Achieving monthly personal new business subscription sales targets and helping the team achieve its overall goals.

Helping increase our subscriber footprint in Asia across mining companies, investors, and suppliers.

Identifying major gaps in our Australian subscriber base across both mining finance and ops, as well as energy.

Playing a key role in building out our energy subscriber base within Australia and New Zealand.

Requirements

Prior experience in selling on a corporate level, be it subscriptions, data, advertising, or events
