Job Title: Student Teacher (Graduating this Year)

Location: South Liverpool Primary Schools

Position Type: Full-Time

Role Overview: This full-time Student Teacher position is ideal for a motivated individual who is graduating this year and eager to gain valuable experience in a primary school setting. Under the guidance of experienced educators, you will have the opportunity to develop your teaching skills and make a positive impact on the lives of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and delivering engaging lessons in collaboration with the class teacher.
  • Support the implementation of the school curriculum, incorporating creative and innovative teaching methodologies.
  • Work closely with students to provide individualised support and encouragement, fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the educational experience for students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to assess student progress and contribute to the development of individual learning plans.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Education or a related field, with an expected graduation date within the current academic year.
  • Genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic school environment.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
