As a Student Accommodation Officer, you will be working as part of a wider team with administrative support provided and will be managing student-let properties for the Canterbury area. The role will involve liaising with a range of stakeholders to include students, parents/guardians, landlords and contractors to provide a first-in-class service and quality properties.

The role

  • Assessing repairs and maintenance
  • Arranging maintenance orders with approved contractors
  • Carrying out property inspections pre and post letting - managing inventories
  • Marketing of properties - arranging and undertaking viewings
  • Managing lease procedures
  • Dealing with issues and complaint resolution from Landlords and students
  • Negotiating and liaising with potential new Landlord

About you

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a time-sensitive and sometimes pressurised environment are essential. Ideally you will possess student lettings experience, residential lettings or property management knowledge. The successful candidate must own a clean, full UK driving licence and be able to provide their own vehicle - with business insurance.
