Elevation Recruitments Skilled Shop Floor Team are proud to be working in partnership with a large fabrication business commutable from York, Scarborough, and surrounding areas.

The facility is facing continued growth, and they are currently looking for individuals with experience of welding and fabrication. The successful candidate must be able to work to tight deadlines and be able to follow health and safety guidelines.

Welder/ Fabricator

Salary:

£15.00ph - £17.64ph

Overview of the role of a Welder/Fabricator:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience as welder/fabricator. The candidate must be able to weld various thicknesses and also be able to work from engineering drawings. 

Skills & Experience:

  • Fabrication and welding experience (MIG and TIG)
  • Following strict health and safety guidelines
  • Working from engineering drawings
  • Completing jobs in full and on time

The successful candidate:

  • Extensive experience of fabrication and welding
  • You’ll also ideally have either an L3 NVQ Fabricating and Welding qualification, a City and Guilds L3 in Fabricating, or an Advanced Modern Apprenticeship in Fabricating and Welding.
  • Above all, you’ll know how important safety is, and you must have the right to work in the UK.
