Advanced Resource Managers are excited to support one of the UK's leading structural steel specialists, in hiring a Structural Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Structural Engineer looking to grow their career within a dynamic business, with a unique setup and a strong client base. Our client is experiencing high levels of growth, delivering projects in excess of £50M+ and to 18,000te. The successful applicant will be working on some of the most prestigious and award-winning structures in the country, whilst receiving a competitive salary and company benefits.

You will work closely with clients, colleagues and other professionals, using construction plans, drawings and specifications. You will develop design ideas using current industry software, apply loadings to and calculate stresses and loadpaths through different parts of a structure, and prepare bids for tenders. You will ideally have achieved Chartered Status, or be currently working towards Chartered Status, and have extensive experience in working within a structural design role, and ideally within a structural steelwork fabrication business.

Essential skills:

* Robust knowledge of structural mechanics and engineering principles.
* Excellent Design calculation capabilities.
* Chartered or working towards Chartership. (MIStructE, CEng or equivalent)
* Fastrak Portal Frame
* STAAD Pro
* Masterseries Connections

Desirable skills:

* Experience in working within a structural design role.
* Knowledge of sector-related software, i.e Tekla Structural Designer.
* Knowledge of steelwork fabrication, or having worked for a steelwork fabricator.
