Your new company
Your new company are a forward-thinking and growing multidisciplinary engineering consultancy with 6 offices spread across the UK and Ireland. Having achieved immense success in Ireland, they expanded around 5 years ago in the UK and continue to strengthen in numbers and in client base.
You will be joining the Birmingham office, currently 5 strong, playing a key role in its future success.

Your new role
As a Structural Engineer with your new company, you will be responsibile for the design from concept through to construction on projects across the residential, commercial, hotel and extra care sectors. Both a 37-storey and 25-storey residential tower are part of a package of work that was recently secured!
Depending on your level of experience and confidence, you will be managing the projects from a structural standpoint. Furthermore, attending client meetings whilst representing your new company, attending site, liaising with the modelling team and writing reports are all important tasks you will fulfil.
This role is for an ambitious engineer looking to take on more responsibility and progress quickly to the next level in a supportive environment.

What you\'ll need to succeed
You will need a minimum of a B.Eng. in Civil Engineering and at least 3 years UK consultancy experience designing a variety of structures.
AutoCAD and Tedds experience is essential.
Although the experience level required is quite open, it\'s important that you are interested in getting hands on! The role will be varied and expose you to the full range of consultancy work. Perfect experience as you accelerate towards Chartership.

Your new company are also flexible and agile in the way they work. The team in Birmingham work 3 days in the office every week and are happy to accommodate differing needs.
It goes without saying that the project experience you will receive is second to none. Continued professional development, shadowing of the Technical Director where needed and hands-on support with Chartership progress are all part of the package.
