New Structural Engineer Opportunity!

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are searching for a dynamic Structural Engineer to join a leading Engineering Consultancy, on a permanent basis in Guildford.

Our client is offering the successful Structural Engineer the flexibility to work on a hybrid basis, attending the Guildford office 3 days per week!

As the selected candidate, you will play a crucial role in the design and analysis for various new build and survey work across a range of sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and specify all aspects of Structural works
  • Producing design deliverables, including drawings, specifications, reports and site surveys
  • Liaising with clients and the design team to ensure progress against the project brief
  • Deliver multiple projects or parts of projects to completion
  • Ensure the provision of efficient structural Engineering designs
  • Build client relationships and help identify business opportunities
  • Offer support and guidance to other team members

Key Requirements:

  • A degree in Engineering
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience working as a structural Engineer
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in the design of common structural materials
  • Good understanding of current design standards and practices
  • The ability to act on your own initiative
