Streetworks Coordinator
- Facilitate permitting for fibre highway works, including Opening Permits, Stop Permits, and Reinstatement details.
- Coordinate Section 50, TTRO, and traffic management applications.
- Liaise with stakeholders to arrange suspensions, closures, and traffic management measures.
- Monitor streetworks compliance and address issues promptly.
- Utilize Street Manager for defect coordination and permit management.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely information upload.
- Identify streetworks issues and implement proactive solutions.
- Drive process improvements and workflow efficiencies.
- Understanding of traffic management concepts and permitting processes
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Understanding of NRSWA/TMA regulations and using Street Manager or similar tools is desirable
- Time Management: Coordinating multiple tasks and deadlines, such as permit applications and project timelines, to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Communication Skills: Communicating effectively with various stakeholders including local authorities, operations teams, and third parties to coordinate permit applications and resolve issues.
- Attention to Detail: Managing permits, compliance documents, and project records requires meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and regulatory adherence.
- Resilience: Streetworks projects can be challenging and may encounter obstacles. Resilience and the ability to stay focused and motivated during setbacks are important for overcoming challenges and achieving project goals.
