Strategic Finance Manager Role in Central London | Ackerman Pierce

Ackerman Pierce seeks a Strategic Finance Manager to join their team in Central London. This exciting opportunity is initially for 3-6 months, with potential for extension based on performance and internal circumstances. Local Authority experience is highly desirable.

Local Authority experience will be preferred

As a key player within the Strategic Finance team, the successful candidate will drive further improvements and transformative initiatives. By embodying the "We Are Finance" culture, they will contribute to enhancing outcomes and service delivery. Balancing collaboration within the team and across departments, they will champion continuous improvement while fostering a values-driven environment.

Key Qualifications and Responsibilities:

Leadership: Oversee the Housing and Planning finance team, including capital and revenue management. Ensure compliance with statutory deadlines for publishing and auditing annual accounts and manage the Council's group accounts.

Change Advocacy: Collaborate with the Director of Finance to drive positive change across the Finance Leadership Team, aligning with Fairer Westminster commitments.

Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and deliver new service offerings, actively seeking feedback from key stakeholders.

Diversity and Inclusion: Serve as an ambassador for the Council's Diversity and Inclusion initiatives.
